Yappy Beeman performs live honey bee removals in Alabama and relocates them to apiaries away from residential areas so they can rebuild and thrive as a honey bee colony producing honey. Yappy is an Alabama Beekeepers association member that has preformed over 1500 live bee removals. Yappy, along with the help of his great friends, Jp The Beeman, 628DirtRooster, Jeff Horchoff, and many others has learned many ways to remove bees safely for the bees and homeowners alike.

I Can't Believe He Actually Did This : First Swarm Catch Has Him Hooked
It's not everyday I can have a moment that I catch on camera to document a memory forever. I started this channel for a single reason. That one day after I am gone, my children could always have a way to spend with me in their hearts. Through all this, I have also made many friends that share the same passion of bee keeping as I do. Maybe in some way that makes us family as well. Long distance cousins maybe...lol. I can only thank everyone for the acceptance and love given for all the effort to share one of the joys in my life, honeybees.
A few days ago my mini called and told me we had a swarm in the tree out front. I told him to keep his eyes on it and we would catch it together in the morning. He was ready when I got there and ready to roll. I can't begin to express how awesome it is to see him interested in what I do and teach him the joys I have interacting with all things nature. Especially BEES!

I Couldn't Stop Them It Happened So Fast byYappyBeeman Follow my additional page to see the progress of the bees in this amazing hive. youtube.com/@HoneyMoneyTV The one thing most beekeepers hate to see is a swarm flying from their own box. Many times that swarm lands up high in a tree and makes it very difficult to recover. Thus causing the beekeeper to lose half of that colony of bees. But to...

Got stung twice???
I never see honey bees. Only carpenter bees and bumblebees. Fat bees.
This guy is nuts!!!
Beeman: Let’s give em the smoke Stoner: Aight! 😙💨 Bees: 🥴 Damn this honey bussin
Found a stoner
Ohhhhh, are you gonna take bees home tonight Ohhhhh, get you a box, they'll hole up tight Ohhhhh, you got a cluster hanging down Fat bottomed queens, they make the rocking hive go round
GREAT SONG!!!!!!!
Awesome video, very exciting, thank you for sharing!
We wouldn’t beelieve ya
That that's cool their pretty busy bees work and work just like people do 😅
You f'd up with the Queen. Good luck with a new swarm.
I bee-leave you.
could you have put more boxes on to prevent it?
Moral of the story, a beehive is like Chess. Capture the queen and it’s basically over.
This is so cute, your enthusiasm is adorable!
Almoat seems criminal that they're not stinging him lol
I put a bee box under the bees and lower them into the box
You as well are assume Yappy Beeman 😂😂💪🏼🫶🏼❤❤
Bee keepers wear a net for protection* Yappy- who’s Annette?
Why do you go after the queen?
The other bees follows the queen wherever she goes.
That was so fascinating. I never knew someone could control bees like you just did. So cool. Thanks for sharing 😊
March of the bees!
I mean...if the shoe fits. 😂
Gotta shamefully confess.... My son has been beekeeping a little over a year and a half. He's up to 51 hives. It's working him to death with a full-time job. I'm trying to get to where I can help. Now the confession, I'm scared of being stung. I see him work without protection quite a bit. He gets stung but doesn't seem to bother him. Guess I'm gonna have to mussel and get over it. I can't fathom you doing what you did with no suit. Surely you got stung???
Noone makes you beekeep without a suit, and no other beekeeper will think less of it. There are these beekeeping onesies/overall/suits with veils zipped on, so the odds of an adventurous bee sneaking under a coat rim or pants is minimal. you can stuff the hoses of your pants in your socks or in sturdy boots so they wont crawl up your pants. Get good fit sturdy kitchen gloves and close the gap with the velcro sleeves of the suit. The " shame" is all in your head. It's better even to start with good protection and learn how to keep those bees without too much fear of getting stung. Eventually you'll get a little tired of getting all kitted up for every little thing, and can gauge when you can get away without. Or not and just gear up. It's perfectly fine. I think your son would think it's really cool of you, wanting to help. Ask him where to get a good beekeeping suit. :)
Get yourself a nice bee suit. This way you're 100% relaxed while working with the bees and they also offer so many easy access pockets to store all your stuff. I'm working on my bees in full suit everytime and it makes everything way less stressed (and my bees usually are super chill, i just don't want to risk running around with swellings at work since i'm kinda sensitive to their stings. not allergic but sensitive ^^)
Bro is their queen
The fact the guy was worried about the camera being still and not the fact there are about a thousand bees ready to sting him is insane
Candy Man. Candy Man. Candy Man.
DUDE I THOUGHT HE WEAR SUITS BUT WITH BARE HAND WOW THIS DUDE ARE SERIUS STRONG
When you were doing the countdown I was actually praying
Oh that's hilarious.
Definitely pissed, but successful as ever, missed ya❤️🇨🇦🐝🇨🇦great job!!! Collaboration hopefully in near future, need some bedrest fun 🇨🇦
How do you remove the queen from that plastic box once they are all inside ? Thanks fro sharing this video
I go back in after a few days and take the cap off and she walks right out into the hive. It just helps hold the bees there a few days so they set up the new home for her and not leave.
Thank you !! I could never do this lol would be afraid to get sting 🙈
Can any vac be used for bees? Would a shop vac work?
NOOOOOO....BIG NO. This is a special designed setup that catches but does not kill them. Any other "vacuum" would kill them.
Imagine if they are African those kill people right ?
hi Yappy im from england and im new to your channel. im catching up on all your vids and i think youre brilliant i love watching you im a new subscriber LOVE FROM England xx
Wow.....Yapoy is gone WORLD WIDE!!! LOL. Thank you so much for jumping in and glad to have you in here. Hello back from CrazyLand ....otherwise known as the current state of confusion. 🇺🇸
Absolutely fascinating! I just love bees and this video was so informative, thank you 🙏
This is how the parent generation went to school.
this guy is a fuckin bee
Dude you got balls!
Gadsden? Should've called yelawolf
No lie.....this was literally a couple blocks from where he grew up.
When you get stung do you feel it much at all or do you have complete immunity to the toxin at this point?
Forgot the warning label. Don' try this at home.
Good job
So, I see the wood of the potential hive box is kinda rough (rotting), so what sorts of rot/fungus is dangerous for their health?
5:04 what is this song?
I've tried this same thing when I found that one of my hives swarmed and it landed in an apple tree 5 feet off the ground. The bees stayed in the hive and when I released the queen 2.5 days later they all left immediately and went to the top of a 70 foot tall pine tree and within a few hours they all flew away. IMO... these videos are just pure luck that the bees stay. In my experience, a 6-8 pound swarm of bees won't find a 5-frame nuc box big enough to stay in and they leave to find a better new home.
pretty neat to see them all move to a new home like that. I have never seen it happen. really a shame there is not net system for swarming bees. kind of difficult given they need to fly around to pollenate.
"alright gang" didn't know you were chill like that 🤙😜
lol he’s a funny little guy he was so exited😂it’s awesome to see he has an interest with bees and nature etc it massively impacts you as a child growing up you are more thoughtful of wildlife and especially bees, he will always remember these times or he may even continue the family business!
I’m not so bee smart but this is the first of a few things I’ve ever seen in my life! This was awesome
Why in the hell are you putting your bare hands on it
Thats a proud pappa. blood and heritage meens nothing, its all about who brings you into this world, and helps you through life. So if you help feed them and get them through bee-college and all, your definitely their pappa in my eyes, - even if people say they don't look like you..
These were great and doing very well still. I have made 5 more colonies from this hive and they are booming as well. I guess that makes me a Grandpa also. Lol
Imagine you don’t kill the bees
He doesn't though?
unbeelievable stuff
